UN Big Bag types
Our product range consists of the following UN Big Bag types:
- 13H1 – FIBCs, Woven uncoated polypropylene PP
- 13H2 – FIBCs, Woven coated polypropylene PP
- 13H3 – FIBCs, Woven uncoated polypropylene PP with an Inner LDPE liner
- 13H4 – FIBCs, Woven coated polypropylene PP with an Inner LDPE liner
UN Big Bags Hazard Class
UN Certified bulk bags are classified to differing levels to indicate their suitability for the carriage of various substances. Some classes are further subdivided according to the nature of appropriate hazards:
- Class 1: Explosive substances and articles
- Class 4: Caustic solids, self-reactive substances and solid explosives in non-explosive touring state
- Class 4.2: Substances susceptible to spontaneous combustion
- Class 4.3: Substances which, in contact with water, emit flammable gases
- Class 5.1: Oxidizing agents
- Class 5.2: Organic peroxides
- Class 6.1: Toxic substances
- Class 8: Corrosive substances
- Class 9: Various dangerous substances and articles
UN Big Bags testing
All of our UN Big bags are manufactured and tested according to the UN regulations, in order to make sure that the necessary safety criteria for containing and handling hazardous substances are met.
A Top Lift Test, Drop Test, Topple Test, Righting Test, Tear Test, and a Stacking Test are conducted by a testing house authorized to conduct UN performance tests and to issue the UN certificates/Reports.
